1. That was one of the reasons the Canadian press and government objected to the movie; they felt it invited sympathy, especially for Karla Homolka, presenting her as being manipulated and abused by Paul rather than as the willing co-conspirator she apparently was.
2. I’ve looked and looked for interviews from cast members other than Misha Collins and haven’t been able to find anything. If anyone can direct me to anything, I will be very grateful to them. I don’t know what Prepon thinks about the movie or what her experiences were like. My guess is that Misha Collins, as the most important male actor on the film, was better treated than the actresses who worked on the movies. When he complains about the director being a “total creep,” I don’t think it was just the director’s behavior towards him.
