My name, for those of you who don’t know, is Misha. The nationality is, uh, hippie? My mom, she went to Russia when she was in college and she had a boyfriend whose name was Mitja, which she thought was the same as Misha, which it isn’t. And his real name was Dmitri, so my real name, like my actual, real - like my birth certificate says Dmitri, but she always calls me Misha. So I have the wrong nickname. But, you know, it’s too late to change it now.
My mother’s mother’s maiden name is Collins. And I’ve always been called Misha, from the beginning. So yeah, I went with Misha Collins instead of Misha Dmitri Tippens Krushnic just because I thought it flowed nicer.
